Swift Cargo wins Championship at SCPL 2024 - Season 3
The 3rd edition of the Shipping Cricketainment Premier League, organized by SEATECH SHIPPING & PROJECTS I PVT LTD, unfolded at the St. Andrew’s College Turf in Bandra on 4th February 2024. The tournament featured both Men’s and Women’s Turf Cricket competitions, bringing together spirited performances and sportsmanship.
Men’s Team Journey:
The Men’s Team engaged in a total of 5 matches during the event, facing formidable opponents like Total Movement in the Semi Final and EMU lines in the Final. In a gripping Final, our company team emerged victorious, achieving the target of 72 runs in 8 overs with 2 wickets down, securing the Men’s Finals Trophy.
Women’s Team Journey:
The Women’s Team participated in 2 matches, competing against Goodrich Maritime in the Semi Final and Transcon Freight Systems Pvt Ltd in the Finals. Despite a determined effort, our Women’s Team fell short in the Finals. The target set for the Women’s Finals was 33 runs in 8 overs with 4 wickets, providing an additional layer of excitement to the game. The Women’s Team showcased exceptional skill and teamwork, earning them the runner-up trophy.
